Extinction of
Animals within the Yasuní National Park
The Yasuní
National Park has been affected by several alterations and one of them is the
extinction of the species of this park, the extinction of species can occur due
to deforestation, illegal trade in species, poaching and burning of forests .
Most of these
are caused by humans themselves. Deforestation affects animals since they feed
on plants. The illegal trade in species occurs because hunters steal pocket
monkeys and sell them.
Here are some
examples:
OSO DE ANTEOJOS:
It has yellow stripes around its eyes and this is its name. This animal is the
victim of poaching for its skin, meat and fat
TAPIR AMAZÓNICO:
It is persecuted for its skin, fat and nails.
CONDOR ANDINO: It is a valuable and majestic animal of our country, however hunters marry it by mistake.
EL PUMA: It has
a slender figure with reddish fawn skin, they hunt it because they consider it
dangerous to humans.
Human beings are
to blame for the misfortunes of our national parks and the extinction of our
animals. They are hunted by mistake for their skin or meat, in order to give as
an offering, or because they consider them very dangerous for humanity.
Message: We must take care of the Yasuní National
Park since it is a very important natural reserve and contains a great
diversity of animals and is considered the lung of the world, we must take care
of our nature.
